There's different versions of this game out there but here are the latest celebrities for 2007 :)
Print out the celebrity cards (color is best) cut and paste them on to nice paper. Give each student a copy of the English question sheet (or just write it on the black board). The game is pretty self explanatory, if you look at the files.
Best way to start is to have a demonstration with the JTE. Afterwards, put the students into pairs or groups. Have one student pick a card and the other students in the group try to guess whose picture is on the card by asking questions.
Or you can choose a card and have all the students ask you questions. Though I usually do this near the end of the class (winner can get a prize)

Perhaps doesn't focus enough on a particular topic, but good practice for asking questions about someone. I have a similar lesson to describe feelings, I'll upload it sometime.
2 Written by Sherley Andrieux , on 12-12-2007 15:23 I would definitely recommend this game as well. I used this at my "low performance" school and my students loved it! But please be CAREFUL with cutting up those cards. I ended up with a really bad cut from using the paper cutter to cut all that stuff... :(
3 Written by john , on 28-09-2007 00:07 This is a treuly great game. It took about 45 mins to print (in colour), cut, and glue onto card paper. I used it with 5-6 grade elementary students, and 1,2,3rd grade JHS students. To make it more challenging for some of the 3rd graders, I suggest you remove the Japanese all together, or you offer a work sheet without translation after about 15 mins of practice using the original work sheet.
4 Written by Daryle Santos , on 11-09-2007 21:12 anyone can edit these files and add files, just click on edit button near the title. Please be nice and not mangle the original copy or delete the files. These are here for everyone's benefit. If you would like to edit the instructions, please inform the original writer.

Thanks for the idea! WebMaster of Natto - is there any way for other people to upload files to this so that there can be "character cards for 2008, 2009, etc.?"
